Heather COX

Phalanx is a floor installation of spooky, exoskeletal creatures. Composite images of the artist’s head and hands are folded into thousands of small paper sculptures. Eyes open and eyes closed, this amphibious population is on the move. En masse, the crab-like creatures suggest both physical and psychological invasion.
